“Mentoring and educating newer nurses in the Emergency Department is imperative to their success and to improving patient care.  Working with the new grads in the Emergency Department allows me to foster a supportive environment to help them grow and succeed in an environment that can sometimes be overwhelming.  As I mentor newer nurses, they, in turn, help me grow as a nurse leader and drive positive change in our department.“
